Last updated: May 26, 2026
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that websites place on your device (computer, tablet, phone) when you visit them. These files allow the site to remember certain information about your visit — such as your preferred language or login status — so you have a smooth experience.
Cookies used on this site
1. Strictly necessary cookies
Essential for the site to function. They do not require your consent.
- WordPress session — Maintains active session for authenticated users (administrators only). Duration: session.
- Polylang (pll_language) — Stores your language preference (French or English). Duration: 1 year.
- Server cache (LiteSpeed) — Improves loading speed. No personal data. Duration: variable.
2. Audience measurement cookies
We measure site traffic to improve content and performance.
- Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) — Anonymised traffic measurement (page views, visit duration, referral sources, device type). IP addresses anonymised. Duration: up to 26 months. Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy
3. Third-party cookies
Our site does not embed social media pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), no third-party advertising, and no share buttons that track your visits. The only third-party cookies present are those from Google Analytics mentioned above.
How to manage cookies
You can at any time:
- Configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent some site features from working properly.
- Opt out of Google Analytics via the official extension: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
